Morning: Meet & Greet at BIA Airport. Transfer to Negombo (20 mins).
Afternoon: Check into your hotel. Relax by the pool or walk along the Negombo beach.

The Sacred Capital (Anuradhapura)
Morning: Drive to Anuradhapura (approx. 3.5 hours).
Afternoon: Explore the Anuradhapura Ancient Kingdom (Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya, and the twin ponds).
Evening: Visit Mihintale for sunset—the views from the top are incredible and it’s much cooler than climbing at noon.

The Medieval Capital & Sigiriya Vibe
Morning: Drive to Polonnaruwa (1.5 hours). Rent bicycles and ride through the ruins of the Royal Palace and Gal Vihara.
Afternoon: Drive toward Sigiriya. Enjoy a Traditional Village Lunch (Hiriwadunna).
Evening: Check into your Sigiriya hotel and relax.

The Lion Rock & Wild Giants
Morning: Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress early (7:00 AM) to beat the heat and the crowds.
Afternoon: Jeep Safari at Minneriya National Park (or Kaudulla/Hurulu Eco Park depending on elephant movement) to see the “Gathering.”
Evening: Optional: A relaxing Ayurvedic herbal massage.

Cave Temples & The Last Kingdom (Kandy)
Morning: Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple (UNESCO). Then, head toward Kandy.
Stopover: Visit a Spice Garden in Matale and the colorful Muthumariamman Temple.
Evening: Watch a Kandy Cultural Dance Show followed by a visit to the Sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic during the evening ceremony (Thewava).

Botanical Gardens & Little England
Morning: Stroll through the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens.
Afternoon: Drive to Nuwara Eliya (approx. 2.5 hours). The drive is stunning, passing waterfalls (Ramboda Falls) and tea carpets.
Activity: Visit a Tea Factory & Plantation to learn how Ceylon Tea is made.
Evening: Walk around Gregory Lake or visit the iconic pink Nuwara Eliya Post Office.

The Epic Train Journey to Ella
Morning: Explore Nuwara Eliya town or Victoria Park.
Mid-day: Board the scenic train from Nanu Oya to Ella. This is the 3-4 hour “bucket list” ride. (Make sure to book tickets in advance!).
Evening: Arrive in Ella and head to a cafe (like Cafe Chill) for dinner.

Ella Peaks & The Wild South
Morning: Hike Little Adam’s Peak and walk across the Nine Arch Bridge.
Afternoon: Drive down to Yala/Tissamaharama (approx. 2 hours). Stop at Ravana Falls on the way.
Evening: Relax at the campsite or hotel before the safari.
Overnight: Yala or Tissamaharama.

Leopard Safari & The Fortress (Galle)
Early Morning (5:30 AM): Jeep Safari in Yala National Park (Best time to spot leopards and bears).
Afternoon: Drive along the southern coast to Galle. Stop at Mirissa for a quick photo at Coconut Tree Hill.
Evening: Sunset walk on the Galle Fort ramparts.
Overnight: Galle or Unawatuna.

Mangroves & Departure
Morning: Madhu River Boat Safari (Balapitiya) through the mangroves and visit a Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda.
Afternoon: Drive to Colombo. A quick city tour (Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square) and some last-minute shopping at Odel or Barefoot.
Evening: Transfer to the Airport (BIA) for your departure flight.
